Telematics Installation for Government Fleets
City, county, state, and federal fleets. We install, test, and document GPS, cameras, and asset trackers on the platform your agency chose, and we put it in writing so it holds up to an audit.
What makes government fleet projects different
Procurement sets the rules
Many agencies buy telematics through an RFP or a cooperative contract such as Sourcewell or NASPO ValuePoint. Installation is often a separate line item or handled by a subcontractor, and it has to match the contract’s terms.
Every vehicle is different
Patrol cars, plow trucks, transit vans, parks pickups, and off-road equipment can all be in one fleet. Many are already full of upfit equipment that you can’t disturb.
Access and screening
Police, corrections, and secure facilities often require background checks, escorts, or badges before a technician can work on a vehicle or enter the yard.
Records have to be complete
Agencies need to show what was installed, where, and when, by asset number and serial number, for audits, grants, and asset inventories.
Departments run on their own schedules
Public works, police, fire, and parks all have different shifts and peak seasons. Pulling a plow truck in a storm isn’t an option.
Federal requirements
GSA now requires telematics on leased federal vehicles, and many agencies are adding it to owned vehicles too. That means a lot of installs on a deadline.

Government fleet questions
Can you work as a subcontractor on a cooperative contract?
Yes, we can support the vendor or reseller that holds the contract as their install partner. The contract holder and your purchasing office decide how installation is billed under that contract.
Can your technicians pass a background check?
Tell us what your agency requires, such as fingerprinting or CJIS-related screening, and we’ll confirm which technicians can meet it before scheduling.
Can you help us write the installation part of our RFP?
Yes. Our consulting service can help you define install standards, testing, documentation, and acceptance criteria so every bidder quotes the same scope.
Do you install on police and emergency vehicles?
We install telematics and cameras on vehicles with existing upfit equipment. We plan around lights, radios, and computers so nothing that’s already installed is affected. Tell us what’s in the vehicle and we’ll scope it.
Do you work outside Colorado?
Yes. We’re based in the Denver area and handle projects in multiple states.
Planning a fleet technology project?
Send us your scope, solicitation, or vehicle list and we’ll get back to you within two business days.
